FAQ
What is the target age for this home discipleship tool?
Our books are designed for elementary-aged kids (around ages 5–12) and early middle schoolers. Each book is written in a read-aloud format for parents to guide the learning time.
How often should we do the lessons?
Every family has a different rhythm and schedule, so feel free to go at your own pace! As a starting point, we suggest setting a goal of one lesson per month.
How many lessons are there in the books?
There are 10 lessons in "Creation" (book 1), 6 lessons in "The Fall" (book 2), and 7 lessons in "Redemption" (book 3).
I have kids with a big age range. How do I do this?
Younger kids may benefit from simpler explanations and focusing on the main truth and activities. Older kids can dive deeper into the facts and details in the book (maybe during a separate time). For the simpler projects, you can even invite your older kids to help lead or prep the activities for their younger siblings!
Do I need to do the lessons in order?
The simple answer to that is no. Each lesson teaches a biblical truth on its own. But we would recommend doing the lessons in Not necessarily. Each lesson stands on its own and teaches a key biblical truth. However, doing them in order helps the story and concepts flow more smoothly.
Do I have to purchase the Activity Pack?
Not at all! The Activity Pack is completely optional, but it’s designed to save you time gathering supplies and help your family jump right into the fun.
